Name of bride and groom: Michael and Lauren
How did you meet? We were both living in the same town, Dee Why, and never met. After years of just missing eachother in Sydney, we finally met in an acting class in Lauren’s hometown, Los Angeles. At the same time, Lauren and Mike decided to give the hollywood dream a shot. Although the dream hasnt come true yet, an even better one has!
Where was your wedding? Westhead Sydney NSW
What was your wedding style? Very casual. Just as laid back and quirky as we are. Ive learned that weddings dont have to be as big and stressful as everyone makes out to be. Its all about the two of you and when its a small wedding, it stays that way.
Favourite part of your wedding? The wedding was the favorite part of my wedding! It was a surprise wedding!! At 8:30 that morning, Mike told me at breakfast that we were getting married at 5:30. (He knew Id say yes!) Everything had been organized and all I needed was a dress! (which worked out amazingly.. I got my dream dress with just a bit of luck. But, it was pure luck.. I dont recommend doing this!) His family was notified on the same day and it was very special.
Any advice for other brides/grooms: BOOK RACHEL! She is AMAZING. Our pictures look like something out of a movie! If you get nervous in front of the camera, just forget she is there and focus on your partner, the love you have for each other, and play! You’ll be sure to capture some beautiful and REAL moments between you that will be more meaningful than posed shots!
